Technological art at the festival is displayed in architectural locations across Nizhny Novgorod. INTERVALS aims to make modern media art accessible to everyone who wants to learn more about it. Admission is free.

The festival organizers seek to demonstrate how audiovisual art can transform space and influence our perception of the environment. This audiovisual trip is exciting for both residents and guests of Nizhny Novgorod.

INTERVALS 2023 is expected to feature the works of renowned media artists, studios, and musicians from Russia, Australia, China, Japan, and Indonesia. Here are just some of the names:

Pokras Lampas will present his new video art on the façade of the Yupiter Concert
The laser installation by Shohei Fujimoto (Japan) will be mapped onto the walls of the historic building of the Nizhny Novgorod Choir College;
Spanish media artist Filip Roca will have his work mapped onto the façade of the Mayak Academy;
S E T U P studio will present a monumental installation with circular screens at the TSEKH* art space;
The duo of media artists Cao Yuxi & Law Hiu Kong from China will show their installation with a ramp screen inside the Goradrom Sports Center;
dreamlaser will also present its new works: an installation on the Strelka and a mapping in collaboration with Tinkoff on the façade of the Mayak Academy.

The festival offers an extensive educational program: lectures will be given by artists and multimedia experts. INTERVALS 2023 will culminate with an audiovisual concert by Suzanna, a Russian singer and songwriter, with an authentic visual accompaniment prepared by dreamlaser studio.
