It consists of the works created by four media artists — Arktk Berkut, Stain, media.tribe, TUNDRA. Each resident uses a unique tool and artistic image, allowing the viewer to get a truly distinctive, sensual experience unlike anything else.
Video art, sound art, media installation, media landscape, media performance — the «Medium» exhibition crosses all these lines in the new project and raises the question about the meaning of media art on the whole and offers its own interpretation:
«The real meaning of media art is to provide the viewer with an opportunity to see the world in all of its diversity - from different points of view and opposite meanings - through an encounter with a variety of instruments of creative expression.»
The high performative character of the featured installations gives the artists new ways to engage in an ongoing dialogue with the viewer, and the TSEH* becomes a space of public media communication.
The installations will be on display in Nizhny Novgorod at the TSEH* multimedia art space until May 22
